What is H.E.A.R.T?
H.E.A.R.T is a place that provides kids and teens with a safe place to meet and discuss their progress, things they can do to keep from pulling and just be with people who understand what each other is going through. Youth are provided with fun crafts every meeting time that will help to keep their hands busy and let their imaginations run wild. Meanwhile, parents of the youth meet in the room next door and discuss topics such as the latest news on trich, the studies and test, how we are dealing with the stress of our kids having trich, and we just plain old vent. These meetings are led by Noelani Jai. She urges the youth to join her e-mail support group if they are unable to attend meetings regularly.
